Happy Wesak Day.

Happy Wesak Day People! Oh yeah! It's a public holiday too =D Wesak Day celebrated by Buddhists which marks three momentous events in Buddha's life - his birthday, enlightenment, and achievement of Nirvana. The celebration begins at dawn when devotees gathering at the temples to meditate on the Eight Precepts. Donations, giving food to the needy, offerings of incense, joss sticks and prayers are carried out.

As a Buddhist, my family and I went to Sau Seng Lum temple to pray. Sau Seng Lum is located at Petaling Jaya Old Town. The temple is under renovation but the other sections still open to public. For your information, most of the temples will serve vegetarian to public during such festival. The temple is really packed with people, all are busy with praying for a good luck indeed!

After praying, we also visit my grandpawhich is staying at Petaling Jaya. Grandpa is kinda old. He is always care about his grandchild. However, grandpa is quite strong as he will exercise every morning. Sound's good for the old people right? I hope he can stay healthy always. One thing quite interesting about him is he like to chase us back when we pay him a visit. Due to him, he scared to delay our time O.o. Anyway, I feel so lucky to have a good grandpa like him! =)
